From the editor to your inbox
Add your signature to Gmail.
Use it at the end of a single reply, or save it in Gmail for regular use. Start with the Gmail website on your computer.
- 1
Create and review your signature
Open the editor, add your details and choose a layout. The free template has fixed formatting; purchased templates offer text or handwriting options. Check every detail before exporting.
- 2
Copy the formatted signature
Choose Copy signature in the editor. For the handwritten version, sign in and choose Copy handwritten signature when image uploads are available. If copying fails, try an up-to-date desktop browser.
- 3
Paste at the end of your reply
Place the cursor after the text you have written in Gmail. Use Command+V on Mac or Ctrl+V on Windows. Plain-text paste will remove formatting.
Choose how your text looks
The free Classic signature uses standard text with fixed fonts, colors and layout. Only your details can be changed before export.
Purchased templates support your logo, design options and hosted handwriting images. Contact details stay editable; email apps may hide images.
Optional: save it as a Gmail signature
In Gmail, open Settings → See all settings → General → Signature. Create a signature, paste your formatted result and save changes. You can choose it while composing or set separate defaults for new emails and replies.

Fonts, line breaks, dark mode and image loading can vary by email client. Review a draft and send yourself a test before using a new layout with customers. The website preview is not a guarantee of identical rendering in every inbox.
